Hull office block to receive major facelift

King William House in Hull’s Market Place, known for it’s mirrored windows that reflect the image of the Holy Trinity Church, is to be transformed into apartments, a rooftop terrace and be fronted with bars and restaurants.

We are hoping to bring new life to Hull’s Market Place. With the current transformations across the A63 in the Fruit Market area plus Hull’s City of Culture celebrations, 2017 is the ideal time to begin this work. We’re sure this new project will benefit the city and create a new welcoming area for visitors to Hull alongside releasing new sought-after apartments in the city centre.

The space, built in the 1970’s, is currently home to Argos and alongside a 600-space multi-storey car park. The upper floors of King William House will be 30 one and two-bed flats, the plans for the work to transform the current empty office space has been submitted to Hull City Council. The planning permission for the ground-floor leisure units will be submitted later in the year.
